Winter Showcase Dress Rehearsal
Where: Royal Palm High School; 10600 Okeechobee Blvd, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411.
You will drop off your dancer at the front of the theatre to the doors at the left hand side of the building. Look and follow signage to avoid confusion. During show week all parents will be emailed further instructions and a qr code for drop off/pick up.
We will be practicing bows at Dress Rehearsal so we anticipate to have dancers in the first block of dances from their call time until about 6:15 PM. Parents will not be able to sit in anywhere in the building however, there are some good restaurants close by, a movie theater and some shops if you feel like getting some holiday shopping finished! We will be posting on the level BANDS when groups are ready for pick up. Thank you for your understanding and hopefully you can get a little "me" time in!
When: Thursday December 11th SHOW A and Friday December 12th SHOW B. Click here for your dancers specific call time. Please be sure you are looking at the Dress Rehearsal Tab. Call times are the time we start lining the dancers up backstage and taking roll call. Please do NOT pull into the parking lot at that time. Dancer's should already be checked in at the left side door in front of the building.
How: When dropping your dancer off please remove their street shoes and put on their dance shoes before checking in. PRO TIP- ballet shoes fit in crocs/slides.
What to wear/bring: Dancers are expected to arrive fully dressed in their costume with hair, make-up and show earrings. Review this link for hair, tight and shoe requirements. If your dancer is in more than one dance, please be sure to bring all other costumes and accessories in the garment bag provided. Snacks and water can be put in the bottom zippered section of the garment bag. We will have coloring sheets AND be able to watch the show from backstage! Please do NOT send toys, electronics, stuffies etc. Remember to label EVERYTHING- every shoe, tight, shirt, costume bag, water bottle. If you want it to come back home with your dancer, LABEL THE ITEM.

If your dancer is in Act II and in our age 2, 3 or 4 classes, you will drop them off at the left front door during intermission. This means you will need to get a child ticket for them to sit with you the first half of the show. Call times are the time we start lining the dancers up backstage and taking roll call. Please do NOT pull into the parking lot at that time. We will use the same qr code from dress rehearsal for drop off/pick up.

All dancers will be released AFTER the final bow of each show. Do NOT go to pick them up during the show. We will not be able to open the door as we will be with all the dancers. Instead, enjoy the show until you can pick up your dancer.
